A compact, elite startup is building software applications and AI agents layered over a governed enterprise data foundation and wants an engineer who can own technical outcomes from beginning to end and stay effective while a problem is still ill-defined. Each engineer covers a product surface that would normally need a whole team.
What you’ll build
- Create and deliver live applications and AI agents that sit on a governed, permissioned data layer
- Produce AI features whose answers cite sources, honor access permissions and are dependable enough to inform real decisions
- Take ownership of a fuzzy request and turn it into a tool a company relies on daily
- Embed with the business processes you are automating when needed
- Guide technical direction and serve as the go-to engineer for the toughest problems
Strengths
- One to six years as a software engineer who has launched whole products independently and writes production-ready code in several areas
- Full-stack delivery across backend, frontend and AI layers, with early-stage startup experience
- Curiosity about bringing classic software craftsmanship into AI products while weighing what the newest models can do against solid architecture
- Experience owning complex AI products such as long-horizon agents and tool calling
- Comfort with ambiguity and with working directly with customers to turn needs into technical solutions
- Extreme ownership, with evidence of growing scope over time
