A very small, fast-moving startup offers an AI-driven platform through which business owners without technical skills can build and run their own software, along with a family of headless SaaS building blocks such as authentication, content management, media storage, email and commerce. It is hiring a senior-level engineer with particular depth in client-side work and broad strength across the stack and comfortable operating production cloud systems.

Product ownership

  • Take charge of customer-facing product areas of the platform from concept to completion, covering the conversational builder agent, the app-building tool, the mobile web experience and the headless SaaS modules
  • Pick up a well-defined objective with no prescribed answer and drive it to a finished product, refined by what users tell you
  • Collaborate daily alongside the founders about product direction and respond fast to input from a big base of mostly non-technical users
  • Craft deliberately simple interfaces through which non-technical owners operate business-critical tools such as CRM, ERP and HR software
  • Carry features from the first sketch through system architecture, schema and API work to release, and keep refining afterward
  • Build core SaaS capabilities such as billing and entitlements, analytics, experiments and feature flags, localization and notifications
  • Lean on cutting-edge AI-assisted coding to greatly increase what you personally deliver

Experience profile

  • Usually four to ten years of experience, with entire modules or significant features delivered to real users rather than fixes alone
  • Production cloud experience on AWS, GCP or Azure at significant scale, with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CDK) and containerized services
  • Hands-on experience with a durable workflow orchestrator such as Temporal, and deep database skills across Postgres or Redis
  • Comfort turning vague goals into simple products that run without hand-holding
  • A steep career trajectory, startup or founder experience, and daily use of AI coding tools
