Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Healthcare Startup)

A healthcare technology startup that runs a care management platform is forming a new billing and revenue-cycle engineering group and wants senior full-stack builders to help it move faster. The company prizes ownership and initiative, and would prefer people who automate an outdated manual process over those who simply recreate it.

What you’ll own

• Create billing and revenue-cycle automation from the ground up, questioning how these workflows ought to run
• Expand the internal staff-facing applications and process tooling used for billing and care coordination
• Deliver features top to bottom, from spec through release: TypeScript and Vue in the browser, with a Node and Express service layer, a MongoDB datastore and occasional Python behind it
• Turn disorganized clinical and patient information into workflows that surface useful signals for clinic teams
• Handle protected health information carefully, with good judgment on HIPAA and tenancy

Qualifications

• Five-plus years delivering live web products in senior roles, judged by concrete results rather than tenure alone
• Strong browser-side JavaScript or TypeScript (Vue favored, React acceptable) combined with server experience in Node, Express and MongoDB; Python helps
• Early-stage startup background with true end-to-end ownership of projects; founder experience helps
• Healthcare familiarity (billing codes, EHRs, PHI) would help a lot, though it is optional, and nobody needs prior revenue-cycle work
• Not suited to those whose history is only at very large companies or a pattern of roughly one-year stints
