A venture-backed voice AI company is hiring senior engineers who embed with enterprise customers and deliver working systems on its voice agent platform. The role blends hands-on building with clear communication between engineers and business people.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from prototype to production on the voice agent platform, reporting progress and risk plainly
- Become a go-to expert in building voice products, notably practical prompting techniques for large language models
- Write full-stack connectors in Python and JavaScript to customer tools such as CRMs, ERPs and scheduling software
- Support sales calls by capturing needs, building demo prototypes and presenting architecture proposals
- Size up projects, clear blockers and keep teams aligned with brief updates
- Turn repeated patterns into reusable tooling or platform components
- Convert field feedback into product and go-to-market recommendations
Qualifications
- Five or more years in customer-facing technical roles, either across several startups or with a long, well-progressed tenure at a large tech company
- Time at a venture-backed startup, and a computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering degree
- Strong command of React, Node.js, Python and AWS, with production-grade code and distributed systems knowledge
- Excellent communication and a hands-on, ownership-driven approach
- Preferred: a voice AI background or senior-level experience
On-site in the South Bay Area (Silicon Valley). Visa transfers considered, though new visa sponsorship is not.
