Our client is a scale-up whose AI voice agents handle very large call volumes for major enterprises. A compact engineering group, organized into several product teams (one of which works embedded with customers), needs another senior full stack engineer to deliver features for its LLM-driven voice and chat products.
Day to day
- Create and deliver full stack features for the company’s LLM-driven voice and chat offerings
- Rotate among the product groups to build capabilities that help win customers and expand the platform, including customer-embedded engineering work
- Fold speech-to-text, voice synthesis and dialogue-model upgrades into production systems
- Tune and troubleshoot live systems while weighing response time, expense and caller satisfaction at enterprise scale
- Collaborate tightly with colleagues in product and machine learning; every engineer drives several initiatives at once
Profile
- Five or more years as a full stack engineer
- Fluent in either Python or TypeScript
- Hands-on work with LLMs, for example multi-turn agents, prompt design or LangChain
- Track record shipping software for very large user bases within a startup or fast-growing company
- Self-starter mentality with an owner’s approach to work
- Comfort with relational databases, major cloud providers and CI/CD is a plus
Remote within the United States (Canada-based candidates may also be considered). No visa sponsorship is offered, so candidates must already hold work authorization.
