Strategic Project Lead (AI Training Data Startup)

A venture-backed company at the Series A stage builds simulated environments that teach advanced AI models to do real knowledge work, with particular attention to finance, and supplies them to leading AI labs. The team is small, and this hire would help steer delivery for major accounts.

Scope

• Take charge of daily execution and quality of the training environments handed to clients, including supervising contract workers and running tests
• Serve as a product lead: form views about the product, partner with engineers to release features and help set the roadmap
• Manage client relationships, clarifying needs, setting expectations and checking that outputs meet the bar
• Create operating systems, written documentation, quality safeguards and processes that scale for quick project turnarounds
• Contribute to pricing, revenue models and the economics of each project

About you

• Two or more years of hedge-fund, private-equity, investment-banking or top-tier consulting experience, able to describe your past work in depth
• Exposure to startups, via operations roles, internships or founding something yourself
• Familiarity with polished deliverables for clients
• Evidence of initiative, such as side ventures or something meaningful you built alone
• Active hands-on work with AI tools, and the ability to explain what you made and why it matters

On-site in San Francisco five days a week. Visa transfers are considered.
