A fast-growing AI software company that has expanded into back-office finance products is hiring someone to roll those products out at enterprise customers. The role blends consulting with hands-on implementation: you act as an accountant embedded with the client, shaping how automation is scoped, set up and taken live.
Your focus
- Lead customer projects from kickoff to go-live, partnering directly with CFOs and finance teams on accounting and ERP rollouts
- Map each customer’s existing workflows and configure the product to fit them
- Support both the sales cycle and post-sale delivery for general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll and payments offerings
- Explain intricate accounting and technical topics in plain terms to senior finance leaders
- Create repeatable processes where none exist yet, and move quickly with a high degree of independence
What you bring
- Background implementing ERP or accounting software, for example finance transformation work at a large professional-services firm or delivery work at an accounting or ERP startup
- Command of back-office accounting, including reconciliations, month-end close, AP and AR
- Track record managing customer relationships with senior finance stakeholders
- About three to five years of relevant experience
- A builder’s temperament; you do not need heavy structure to do your best work
- Accounting or finance degree; CPA is a plus
On-site in New York, NY, four to five days a week. Visa transfers and new sponsorships are both considered.
