JOB-1782

A precision machine shop that belongs to a larger manufacturing-focused parent company is hiring a finance lead to anchor its books while it expands quickly. You would be the dependable, hands-on owner of the shop’s money: making sure it is funded, that spending stays disciplined, and that leadership has what it needs to decide where capital goes next.

Responsibilities

  • Run the shop’s daily finance function: the monthly close, journal entries, reporting, treasury and cash handling, plus wire transfers and supplier payments
  • Direct planning and analysis through budgets, forecasts and variance tracking, so cash never becomes a constraint during fast growth
  • Advise the general manager on capital allocation and capex trade-offs, such as new equipment versus new hires
  • Partner with the manufacturing team so they are well supplied, and learn the job costs and margins behind their work
  • Report to the general manager, with a secondary line to the parent company’s head of finance and its automated finance tooling

Background we want

  • Roughly five years of strong finance experience, drawn from accounting, financial planning and analysis, banking or private equity
  • Practical command of closes, reporting and treasury, with the judgment to steer investment decisions
  • Training at a Big 4 or similarly strong firm, or in large-company FP&A, preferred over small-business-only histories
  • Strong Excel and accounting-system skills; CPA ideal but optional
  • US citizenship is required

On-site in Denver, with relocation help available. Visa sponsorship is not offered.
