JOB-2033

A young startup applying AI agents to semiconductor verification is looking for a senior engineer to take charge of its central agent platform. The ideal person has shipped production AI agent systems, has led engineering work, and enjoys the pace of an early-stage team as it grows with major chip makers.

The work

  • Contribute hands-on to the agent runtime, AI-native design-automation tooling and the core Python platform
  • Convert loosely defined problems into working AI systems, then improve them through traces, evaluations, telemetry and changes to how the product is delivered
  • Package and deploy the product in Podman containers for customers running on-prem, air-gapped environments
  • Direct a quick-moving, early-career team: find bottlenecks, set priorities and make architecture decisions with the technical head
  • Collaborate with forward deployed engineers so lessons from the field feed back into the product

What you bring

  • Roughly six or more years in software engineering (a little less is fine for a former founder or very early engineer)
  • Ownership of an LLM-based or agent application that ran in production
  • Experience leading a team or a significant project, preferably in a strong startup
  • Solid command of Python plus backend and systems fundamentals across Linux/Unix, containers, networking and storage
  • A university background in computer science, electrical or computer engineering from a well-regarded school

On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area, five days a week. Visa transfers considered.
