Forward Deployed Engineer (Enterprise AI Agents)

A Series A startup that runs finance back-office work through AI agents, delivered as a managed service, is hiring a customer-facing software engineer. The engineer builds and deploys tailored agent systems for large enterprise clients and joins a small team where ownership is expected from the start.

What you’ll own

• Build custom AI-agent systems and backend services, mostly hands-on Python
• Carry customer projects from scoping through delivery
• Partner closely with clients to put dependable AI into production for critical finance operations
• Explain complex technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders

About you

• Four to seven years as a customer-facing software engineer
• Strong Python skills and real backend experience
• AI or LLM systems that you have shipped into production in business settings
• Experience on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• A history of leading technical customer projects from start to finish

On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area, five days a week. Visa transfers are considered.
