A small, AI-native fintech startup building financial systems for senior care wants to hire a senior full-stack engineer. The company moves a very high volume of payments, and the engineer partners closely with the CTO, helping shape the product as well as the engineering culture from the ground floor, in an environment where data accuracy and speed both count.
What you’ll do
- Own product initiatives from first scoping through production, turning ambiguity into deliverable pieces and shipping independently
- Make architecture and design choices that set the platform’s direction
- Deliver full-stack features in React and Node.js for payment flows, claims and automated revenue workflows serving senior-living operators
- Collaborate with product staff and business-side stakeholders to convert intricate operational workflows into working code
- Apply AI tools and automation throughout the product
Who fits
- Four to twelve years of full-stack engineering, with production software shipped at an established or venture-backed company
- Proficiency in React on the front end and Node.js or a comparable framework such as Rails or Flask on the back end
- Fintech or healthtech background, such as payments, billing, claims or health records
- Experience with sensitive data (payments, PHI/PII) and treating integrity and security as first-class concerns
- Clear communication with non-technical colleagues
- A computer science or related degree, and comfort in an AI-first workflow
Hybrid in New York, NY or the San Francisco Bay Area, in the office three days a week. Visa support limited to TN status; no other transfers.
