Full Stack Engineer (Consumer AI App)

A Series A consumer fashion app, built around AI and used heavily by shoppers, is hiring a full-stack engineer to join a compact, high-caliber engineering group. The product processes very large volumes of images each day, and the team needs people who can scale the infrastructure, ship polished features quickly and run experiments constantly. The engineer works directly with the founding CEO.

Day to day

• Scale backend infrastructure as user data and image traffic climb quickly
• Build crisp, responsive front-end experiences in React and Next.js, released through a pipeline for A/B tests and experimentation
• Work on ETL and orchestration pipelines that ingest and process product catalogs from a large number of retail brands
• Contribute to ranking and recommendation logic for a new social feed, plus tooling for suggesting accounts to follow and tailoring content to each person
• Deliver features end to end in a quick-moving, experimental setting

What you bring

• Two to eight years of full-stack engineering on consumer-facing products, at companies with a high engineering bar
• Experience at a venture-backed startup or notable tech company, plus a computer science degree
• Proficiency in React/Next.js and Python, with backend experience beyond the front end
• Comfort with AI models in computer vision and recommendation systems
• Plus: Swift/iOS skills, strong design sense, and a customer-focused habit of turning user feedback into code
