Applied AI Product Engineer (E-commerce QA Automation)

A seed-stage startup that builds autonomous AI agents to test websites for well-known e-commerce brands is growing quickly on strong inbound interest. It wants versatile engineers who deliver at every layer, starting with the infrastructure that drives browsers on behalf of the agents and ending with the interface customers use daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features end to end, covering agent infrastructure, browser orchestration and the frontend experience
• Collect customer feedback firsthand and convert it to product fixes in a matter of hours
• Help steer product direction through that customer contact
• Develop and improve AI test agents powered by LLMs that cope with interface changes and surface genuine bugs

About you

• Three to eight years of full-stack engineering with TypeScript, React and Next.js
• Backend experience, not frontend alone
• Demonstrated interest in AI and LLMs through work or personal projects
• Time at a seed to Series B startup, or a strong appetite for early-stage work
• High agency and the ability to ramp up fast with little hand-holding
• Browser automation, web agents, developer tools or QA background is a bonus
