An early-stage software startup wants another engineer to add capacity to its small technical team. The ideal person likes ownership, enjoys creating quick, dependable software, and can help the engineering group grow its output.

What you’ll own

• Carry high-stakes projects through their whole life, starting with early system design and ending with rollout and ongoing tuning
• Build and ship complete features across the stack in Python, Next.js and Node
• Weigh in on architecture choices and the product’s longer-term technical direction
• Rebuild core features on newer technology to improve on current solutions
• Keep quality high through careful peer review and testing while releasing to production every day

What you bring

• Zero to four years of full-stack software engineering with Python, Next.js and Node
• A track record of owning features from proposal to deployment
• A computer science degree
• Comfort shipping to production on a daily cadence
• Speed, problem-solving ability, ownership and clear communication
• Plus points: founder or early-startup background, side projects and an active GitHub
