A fast-scaling startup that builds autonomous AI agents for finance teams is hiring full-stack engineers with a strong product sense. There are no fixed functional teams here: small pods form around goals and are reshuffled every quarter, so one engineer might work on core infrastructure one quarter and agent-facing features the next, while others choose to specialize deeply.
Where you might work
- Product engineering, including front-end and APIs that fit together cleanly
- Agent engineering, such as context design and tool design
- Agent platform work, such as harnesses and evaluation systems
- Platform and infrastructure
- Data systems that give agents accurate, low-latency external information
- An internal group building AI systems that will do a growing share of the company’s own work
Questions you’ll help answer
- How do users become as comfortable with non-deterministic agents as they are with conventional software?
- How should agent state and data pipelines behave when an agent works for hours at a stretch?
- At what level of abstraction should tools be designed for agents?
- How can outcomes be traced back to specific reasoning steps in very long agent runs?
Background we look for
- Five to fifteen years building products from zero to one as a full-stack engineer, with high ownership at a Series A-D startup or a quantitative fund
- Strong tenures and clear career progression
- Fluency with React and TypeScript on the front end and Python on the back end, plus good design instincts
- Intensity, curiosity about hard problems, and a taste for working in person
- Interest in mentoring and being mentored; AI or LLM product experience is ideal
