JOB-1772
A pre-Series A healthtech startup building AI-forward software for hospital nursing leaders is hiring a product manager to connect its founders, engineers and customers. The company wants to replace manual, document-based routines with one unified system, and it moves quickly.
Mandate
- Translate the founders’ direction into a shared roadmap, concrete deliverables and shipped features
- Partner with engineering from day one, writing detailed requirements for AI-assisted development and weighing trade-offs such as MVP scope against technical debt
- Speak with frontline nursing leaders, end users and the hospital executives who purchase, and mine sales conversations to expand, adjust or trim scope
- Analyze usage and customer data, create KPI dashboards that link to commercial results, and plan backward from them
- Own the platform as a whole rather than isolated features, and continually challenge the product as well as how the team operates
Profile
- Three to five years in product, including time at a startup in its early days; careers spent only at large companies or big healthcare organizations are not a fit
- Uses AI tools every day and can prototype with them, for example Claude Code, Cursor or v0
- Technical enough to weigh the limits and compromises engineers raise, though writing code is not required
- Outcome-focused, with B2B or enterprise workflow experience that connects customer experience with commercial results
- Comfortable in front of health-system executives
- A stable tenure history
