A startup whose voice AI screens and interviews job candidates, plugged into employers’ existing hiring software, is adding forward deployed engineers in New York. They serve as technical owners for every customer rollout, designing, building, integrating and supporting each deployment through to production and beyond.
What the role owns
- Turn a customer’s hiring process into running workflows, with trigger rules, filters, interview scripts and write-backs to the customer’s ATS, and drive custom needs from design through verification
- Own the integration layer across numerous applicant tracking systems, plus adjacent tools such as assessment and identity-verification providers
- Handle onboarding from a technical standpoint: connections, permissions, field mapping, importing jobs, building workflows, test interviews and go-live
- Stay accountable for production, triaging support issues to root cause and building monitoring to flag problems early
- Act as the customer’s technical voice, gathering evidence across accounts for product engineering
What we look for
- One to six years in forward-deployed, implementation, solutions or integrations engineering, ideally at early-stage or high-growth B2B startups
- Direct ownership of enterprise client relationships and comfort leading technical sessions with customers
- Strong coding and algorithmic problem-solving skills, with Python and React exposure
- STEM degree from a US university, plus a standout signal such as a top CS program, a founding-engineer stint or a fast promotion
- Already based in New York, NY
