An early-stage fintech company is putting together a compact engineering group to create business workflow software with built-in financial products, along with an AI assistant that guides everyday consumers in handling their finances. It needs senior engineers who can take AI agents from idea to production and help define how the team builds software.
What you’ll own
- Create agent-driven experiences for both business customers and individual consumers
- Be responsible for one or several agents from start to finish, covering the user experience, evaluation and rollout
- Partner with colleagues across product, engineering and design to release high-impact features with proper safeguards
- Help set engineering culture around quality, collaboration and customer focus
- Shape the working principles for building software with AI assistance, using a strictly typed modern full-stack setup and internal tooling to speed up delivery without lowering standards for quality, security or maintainability
About you
- Four to eight years as a full-stack or AI engineer in venture-backed startups
- Production experience designing and shipping agents or tool-using LLM systems, including monitoring and guardrails
- Experience building retrieval pipelines (RAG)
- Background in complex, high-performance web applications across frameworks
- Familiarity with payments concepts such as payouts, ledgers and cross-border transactions
- Current knowledge of agent libraries and best practices, with TypeScript and Python strength
- Steady tenure in recent roles
