Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Construction Software)

A venture-backed vertical software company is modernizing the workforce management, financial and operational software that contractors in construction and similar field-based trades run on, with a product built around artificial intelligence and payments woven in. It is hiring senior engineers for a lean, talent-dense team where engineers run their own projects.

What you’ll own

• Drive systems and product work from initial design to running in production
• Team up with other functions to influence how products are architected and where the engineering roadmap goes
• Lift the team’s technical bar through detailed feedback on written design documents and code reviews
• Write technical blueprints, ship end-to-end solutions across the stack and speak with customers directly for feedback
• Build with a TypeScript-centered stack, including React, React Native, Node/Express and MongoDB, plus payments integrations

Profile

• Four to nine years as a full-stack engineer who already holds a Senior title and has led complex products
• Recent time at a high-growth startup (Series A to D) with a strong engineering bar
• Solid grounding across frontend UIs, backend APIs, data modeling and modular infrastructure
• Interest in the commercial setting and what users need, plus clear writing that makes complicated ideas easy to follow
• Reliable, collaborative and humble, eager to elevate the people around you
• Product-minded, decisive and scrappy, with a founder’s mindset
