Founding Product Engineer (AI Security Startup)

A young startup building security software for governing enterprise AI is hiring its first engineer with a product mindset. The hire will shape how the application looks, works and proves its worth to very large customers, with a capable engineering team behind them.

What you’ll own

• Redesign the interface and main user journeys so security and IT staff find every capability easy to grasp
• Build mostly on the frontend, covering areas such as inventories of AI agents and models, policy controls, investigations and reporting
• Dedicate a meaningful portion of your week to customers during pilots and rollouts, coaching them toward real value
• Convert what customers tell you into product decisions and release improvements fast
• Set the standard for product quality and design as the team expands

What you bring

• Three or more years as a product engineer shipping user-facing features at a fast-moving, venture-backed software company
• Visible design instinct, such as screens or flows you created yourself, a design-engineer background or a UI overhaul you led
• Recent hands-on work centered on web frontends, in any framework (React and TypeScript are in use)
• Confident, product-savvy conversation with customers
