Founding Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Security Startup)

Our client is an early-stage company building a security and control layer for enterprise AI, and demand from big customers is growing faster than the team can staff. They want a versatile engineer who enjoys customers as much as code to join at the very start.

Your focus

• Spend most days alongside customers: leading rollouts and pilots, tracking down integration issues inside their setups and running technical workshops
• Build features and integrations across the whole stack in Python, Go or TypeScript
• Take on whatever hands-on engineering challenges a young product throws up, with no rigid division of labor
• Feed customer input straight back into the product and deliver updates within a few weeks

Ideal background

• Two to five years shipping production software at a fast-growing tech company or demanding startup
• Fluency in at least one of Python, Go or TypeScript
• Solid computer science foundations: architecture, databases and scaling
• Customer-facing engineering exposure, for example forward deployed, solutions or sales engineering, or founding-engineer work close to users
• Familiarity with security, identity or enterprise IT is a plus
