An AI-native mortgage technology company is hiring a senior product manager to own whole product areas from start to finish. The PM sits inside a strong engineering team, talks to customers constantly and makes genuine calls on what the team ships. The engineering group is more than doubling this year, and this hire will help define the specialized product pods that emerge.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of one product pod, beginning with research conversations among lenders and operations staff and continuing through planning, delivery and post-launch refinement
- Connect engineering, design and the business, translating what customers need into precise specifications and technical design choices
- Prototype and test ideas hands-on with AI coding tools so engineers receive concrete starting points
- Define success metrics for each initiative and keep iterating until outcomes are reached
- Help sales and customer success position the product and move deals forward
- Expect roughly monthly domestic travel to customer sites
Profile
- Five to ten years in product management or closely related work such as forward-deployed engineering; individual contributor, not people management
- B2B SaaS background inside early-stage or scaling companies, shipping with limited resources
- 0-to-1 ownership: has launched a new product or feature; former founders welcome
- Enough technical depth to prototype with AI tools, navigate source code and weigh in on architecture decisions
- Experience building third-party integrations
- A plus: regulated-industry experience such as fintech, lending, insurtech or healthcare
Remote within the United States. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
