A fast-growing healthcare AI company is hiring a senior engineer to lead the engineering side of rolling out AI agents at large health systems, payers, providers and pharma organizations. The ideal person is entrepreneurial and client-facing, equally at ease designing complex systems, presenting to executives and writing production code.
What you’ll own
- Enterprise engagements, starting with demos for prospects and gathering requirements, and continuing through design, integration, rollout and support after launch
- Production-grade AI agents that connect with complex healthcare platforms such as EHRs, claims, specialty pharmacy and CRM, under HIPAA rules
- Working sessions and presentations for senior leaders at health insurers and health systems
- Independent architecture and tooling choices, often alone as the engineer at the table
- Lessons from the field that flow back into the core platform as reusable components
About you
- Five to fifteen years as a software engineer who has owned complex systems in production from start to finish and can produce full architecture diagrams
- LLM systems or AI agents in production for real users, with evaluations, guardrails and monitoring
- Executive presence and clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluency in Python, TypeScript, Node, Next.js and React, plus cloud experience on AWS or GCP
- Healthcare or life-science background, ideally in insurance, patient services or compliance
- A founder-style mindset and readiness to be accountable for large engagements
