A Series A startup that supplies reinforcement-learning training data to leading AI labs depends on a network of vetted domain experts, and it needs an operator to run that network from end to end. The aim is to turn applicants into productive, well-compensated contributors while the company grows rapidly.
Remit
- Oversee each stage of the expert experience: applying, screening, onboarding (background checks, identity verification, contracts), assignment to projects and upskilling
- Improve the current platform and prepare it for an expert pool ten to a hundred times larger, for instance by piloting AI-led interviews
- Turn operational friction points into product specs and deliver fixes alongside engineers and AI coding assistants
- Join forces with the senior recruiter to plan coverage for new projects and equip experts with correct evaluation resources
- Represent the contributor community externally and create an experience where contributors thrive and output quality holds up
Ideal profile
- Four-plus years across operations, data operations, solutions or systems design, supply-side marketplaces, or talent and community platforms
- Practical staffing background, for instance steering sizable contractor or specialist pools from recruitment to onboarding to upskilling; pure generalist consultants will not fit
- Good product instincts, comfort with AI tools and self-reliance when engineering bandwidth is limited
- Experience growing talent pools or operating processes fast, ideally within AI data or settings that keep humans in the loop
- Bachelor’s degree
