Principal Product Manager (AI for Financial Institutions)

A growth-stage startup that builds AI agents and conversational platforms for banks and credit unions is hiring a senior product leader to run one product area from start to finish. The person operates as an equal to the head of engineering and joins the senior product group with the founders.

Scope of the role

• Take full ownership of a single product domain, such as the core AI platform, agent-building tooling, voice and chat for contact centers, or debt collection and fraud prevention
• Convert customer requests and internal needs into a concrete roadmap and execute it alongside staff-level and principal engineers
• Share accountability with your engineering counterpart for the results a domain produces, not only for what gets released
• Remain close to the detail as a hands-on contributor, and probably coach and lead less experienced product managers
• Rely on AI tools daily for prototyping, analysis and speed

Background we want

• Eight to fifteen years in product management, including at least three recent years at staff or principal level
• A record of taking products from concept to launch at a startup somewhere between Series A and Series D
• A most recent role with hands-on product ownership, beyond pure strategy or managing other PMs
• Fluency with AI in practice, such as building agents, scripts or workflows
• Bachelor’s degree
• Helpful: financial services, fintech or other regulated-industry exposure, plus experience with agentic, voice or conversational AI in production
