A rapidly scaling company built around AI is expanding a small internal engineering group that works inside the business teams themselves. The group builds agents and supporting systems that take over whole jobs, and it is hiring several experienced engineers to keep pushing that work forward. Nobody has written the manual for this, so the role suits people who like inventing one.
The work
- Design and ship agent-based systems that do real work end to end inside the company, in place of marginal productivity gains
- Create the infrastructure, interfaces and operating practices that let people and agents collaborate
- Learn the data systems, workflows and tasks your agents perform, and use that knowledge to improve both the agents and product decisions
- Be the accountable owner of your projects, whether they ship and whether they work
- Gather your own context by seeking out the right colleagues and studying the data
About you
- Roughly five to fifteen years building products from zero to one as a full-stack engineer, with a product mindset in Python or TypeScript
- Founder, founding engineer or engineer experience at a fast-paced startup, with high ownership of projects
- Real experience with agent SDKs and LLM tooling beyond simple chatbots, and opinions about which models suit which uses
- Enthusiasm for coding agents and for applying them to real economic problems
- Comfort with ambiguity and the autonomy to solve open-ended problems
- A steady record of tenures and clear career progression
