JOB-1713

A small, early-stage AI company sells conversational sales automation to big, sophisticated lenders and other financial institutions. It wants a commercially minded, customer-facing hire who will own strategic accounts from the first conversation through expansion, and who will help invent the sales approach rather than follow a fixed script.

The work

  • Run the entire cycle on strategic accounts, from finding targets through discovery, a pilot, signature and post-launch growth
  • Develop rapport with senior executives and additional decision makers at large lenders, and learn how each prospect really operates so you can pinpoint where the product can have the biggest effect
  • Create persuasive business cases on revenue lift and return on investment using real deployment data and controlled tests
  • Steer deals through the many parties involved at a large institution, including procurement, legal, security, compliance and technology groups
  • Structure pilots so customers see an obvious route from a small trial to wide rollout
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline that does not depend only on inbound interest
  • Pass market feedback to product and customer teams, and help write the playbooks and standards the team will use as it scales

Candidate profile

  • Three or more years in strategy consulting, investment banking or private equity, at engagement-manager or associate level
  • Experience building financial or ROI models and presenting them to executives
  • Strong written and spoken communication, and credibility with operators and senior leaders
  • Real appetite for working directly with customers, not mainly for spreadsheets
  • Selling complex B2B, enterprise software or AI into regulated financial services is a plus
