JOB-1758

A fast-growing deep-tech energy company is hiring an analytical, polished generalist to sit inside the CEO’s office. The business is running construction projects, a brand refresh and rapid hiring at the same time, and this person brings order to the loose ends and hands them back finished.

Day to day

  • Monitor infrastructure and construction work, including contractor payments, invoices, finished milestones and cost breakdowns, so figures are ready whenever leadership asks
  • Build people-analytics dashboards covering hiring mix by team, retention and attrition, then turn the findings into board-level slides and culture programs
  • Coordinate special projects spanning several teams, for instance the rebrand, using Notion trackers that keep the CEO briefed
  • Write automations and run analyses on data from HR, spend and recruiting systems to improve onboarding and hiring workflows
  • Explain the company’s technology to leaders, applicants and academics, and represent it at events and conferences

What you bring

  • Zero to four years in business operations, consulting or go-to-market work
  • Undergraduate degree from a strong university; a technical degree in physics, math or a similar field is preferred
  • Meticulous and numerate, with strong spreadsheet, deck-building and Notion project management skills
  • Polished communication with senior executives, backers, government officials and university contacts
  • Low ego and high energy; happy to move between junior and strategic tasks in an intense environment
  • Early-career consultants or alumni of fast-growth startup sales-development teams fit well

On-site five days weekly in the San Francisco Bay Area (relocation considered). U.S. citizenship is required; no visa sponsorship or transfers.
