JOB-1776

An early-stage infrastructure startup that powers web-workflow automation for healthcare companies is hiring an engineer to take full ownership of major systems. It already handles a large automation volume for fast-growing healthtech startups and wants someone who can take on ambiguous projects immediately, then move into leading a product-area team.

Your remit

  • Write design proposals, gather team feedback, then build, test and ship
  • Own large initiatives, such as sandbox environments that clone the websites being automated
  • Handle incidents and alerts to keep production dependable
  • Grow the job-orchestration and infrastructure layers in step with demand
  • Mentor junior engineers within your product area

Background

  • Two to five years as a software engineer, with production systems shipped and operated end to end, including on-call duty
  • Backend and infrastructure depth on AWS: distributed systems, worker orchestration and scalable design
  • Experience at a VC-backed infrastructure or developer-tools startup, Series B or later
  • An exceptional trajectory, visible in quick promotions or standout side projects
  • Ability to run ambiguous projects from scoping to launch with little guidance
  • Browser automation and LLM agent experience is a plus

On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visa transfers considered.
