JOB-1787

A fintech startup focused on accounts receivable is hiring a rep for the very first stage of its sales process, someone who will often be the first voice finance leaders hear from the company. The seat offers influence over outbound strategy and messaging, close contact with the founders and account executives, and a defined route toward quota-carrying closer duties.

Responsibilities

  • Open conversations with finance leaders at mid-size and large companies, including CFOs, finance VPs, controllers and AR managers, via email, calls, LinkedIn and trade events
  • Study target accounts and buyer roles, then craft pointed messages about receivables problems like slow collections, elevated DSO and manual reconciliation
  • Reply quickly to inbound interest and screen it for need, timing, decision-making authority and overall fit
  • Set up first meetings for the account executives and give them tidy background on each lead they receive
  • Build and refine outreach sequences, test messaging and report on what converts
  • Keep HubSpot current with activity, pipeline and notes
  • Feed market learnings back to product and marketing

What you bring

  • One to two years as a quota-carrying SDR or BDR in B2B SaaS
  • History of meeting or beating meeting and pipeline targets
  • Cold-calling experience and pipeline generated mainly through outbound rather than inbound qualification
  • Steady tenure; no pattern of very short stints
  • Selling to finance, accounting or fintech buyers is a plus, as is familiarity with prospecting tools like HubSpot, Apollo or Clay

On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visa transfers considered.
