JOB-1549

An early-stage AI software company that sells to enterprise CIOs and business-applications leaders is hiring one of its first quota-carrying sellers. The person will generate much of their own pipeline, close mid-market and enterprise deals, and shape the company’s repeatable sales approach ahead of a public launch.

Your focus

  • Create at least 50 percent of your pipeline via outbound outreach aimed at CIOs, business-applications heads and CRM platform owners at large companies, helped by the founders’ network
  • Carry opportunities from the opening conversation to a signed agreement: discovery, demo, a short proof of value inside the customer’s environment, then a one-year contract, over a cycle of a few months
  • Develop the return-on-investment argument for each buyer from what they already pay internal admins, outside consultants and integrators
  • Maintain mutual action plans so security, legal and procurement stay on schedule, and guide buying committees on six-figure contracts, with larger deals possible
  • Relay customer feedback to the founders, the customer success team and engineers
  • Convert successful tactics into playbooks, positioning and messaging while the customer base grows

About you

  • Four or more years selling B2B software, having joined an early-stage team among its first sellers
  • Top-of-leaderboard results over several quarters, backed by numbers such as quota attainment, rank and deal size
  • A record of $100K+ annual contract value wins
  • Comfort building pipeline from nothing
  • Plus: BDR origins, selling to CIOs, or CRM/ERP software and consultancy experience

On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visa transfers are considered.
