JOB-1457

A Series B developer-infrastructure company that turns web pages into data for AI applications is hiring a product engineer for its web-scraping product. You will ship real features that developers use every day, owning each one from concept to production without backlog tickets in between.

Day to day

  • Build and release developer-facing features from first idea through production
  • Keep what you ship dependable and high quality when the sites you target are always evolving and resisting
  • Shape fuzzy, difficult challenges into tidy interfaces that developers actually like using
  • Help set the roadmap with fellow engineers, including the compromises involved
  • Use the product daily, read open GitHub issues and build around genuine developer frustrations

Ideal background

  • Three to eight years of product engineering, including features owned end to end without a PM or designer
  • A shipped product that outside developers use, such as an API, SDK or developer tool
  • Production depth in anti-bot or anti-detection work, browser automation (Playwright, Puppeteer, Chromium) or web agents
  • Strong TypeScript and Node.js, plus daily building with coding agents
  • Care for developer experience, including latency, response format and documentation
  • Willingness to work directly with customers, from debugging integrations to joining calls

On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area or Canada. Candidates already on a work visa may be considered for transfer.
