A fast-growing AI startup is looking for a product manager to create and launch new agent-based products from zero. The person will work in a high-growth, uncertain environment alongside engineering and design, and will have a direct hand in operations as products mature.
What you’ll own
- Lead new AI products from defining the problem through launch and repeated improvement
- Set product strategy and the roadmap, making explicit trade-offs when direction is unclear
- Prototype rapidly with engineers and designers using large foundation models, agentic setups and retrieval tooling
- Shape experiences that keep people involved, with checkpoints for human review, escalation paths and operational safeguards
- Create evaluation methods that track output quality, how models behave, dependability, safety and commercial impact
- Get involved in day-to-day operations and refine processes, tightening the loop between customers, internal teams and the product
- Set up the operating rhythms and measurement needed to scale what works, and prioritize using both metrics and customer feedback
About you
- Five to ten years in product management, including 0-to-1 AI work at an early-stage company
- Launched AI agent or LLM-powered products that customers pay for
- Experience with operationally complex, multi-stakeholder domains such as healthcare, legal or field services
- Technically fluent enough to discuss stacks with engineers and comfortable prototyping hands-on
- Strong empathy for customers and a preference for acting quickly
- Background mixing a recognized large tech company with an early-stage startup
