A healthcare AI company whose agents take over patient scheduling, referrals and refill requests is hiring forward deployed engineers. The aim is to relieve overloaded clinic staff, and these engineers are the technical link between the platform and each customer’s workflows.
Responsibilities
- Write production code: integrations, agent configuration and platform logic that reflects each customer’s scheduling rules and workflows
- Run implementations from scoping to go-live, including project plans, internal coordination and delivery timelines
- Turn hands-on implementation lessons into playbooks and reusable systems so deployments become repeatable
- Act as the main technical contact for customer teams, leading discovery and resolving integration blockers
- Watch live agent performance, find failure patterns and refine behavior for accuracy and reliability
- Support account growth after launch by shipping new features and spotting expansion opportunities
- Pass field observations to product to inform the roadmap
Profile
- Three to six years of experience, with some of it in a customer-facing role
- Has shipped and maintained production software used by live customers
- Solid engineering foundations, ideally Node.js, TypeScript and React
- Has led projects, including managing plans and customer deliverables
- Computer science or similar technical degree
- Willing to travel roughly ten percent of the time to customer sites
- Healthcare workflow or EHR integration exposure is a plus
