JOB-1399

An international software company serving collision repair businesses is bringing its products to the US market and needs a full-stack engineer with real product judgment to build for North American customers. The best candidate could grow into technical lead for that regional effort.

The work

  • Build and ship full-stack features from concept through production, leaning backend-first and using statically typed languages
  • Work closely with repair-shop staff in estimating and parts-ordering roles to see where their processes fall apart, and let that guide your next build
  • Use Python and AI-assisted tooling for fast experiments, then help port the ones that work to Rust
  • Take responsibility for results, uptake and value delivered in your product area, balancing product impact against engineering cost
  • Shift customers away from manual tasks toward AI agents that work under human supervision, winning confidence on high-stakes repairs

Profile

  • Five or more years of professional software engineering shipping production software
  • Full-stack background across backend and frontend; backend-leaning is fine
  • Evidence that you shape what gets built rather than just implementing a spec
  • Energy for working with customers; you talk about users when describing your next move
  • Experience prototyping rapidly with AI-assisted tools
  • Rust or other statically typed language experience is a plus; startup background paired with time at a strong engineering organization is ideal

On-site in Austin, Texas. No visa sponsorship or transfers.
