JOB-1375

A Series B software company serving scientific research teams wants a product manager devoted to its AI agents. New AI functionality lands on the platform weekly, and you will convert it into ready-to-sell packaged capabilities that clients actually adopt. The position connects core product teams with colleagues embedded at customer sites; you will not lead a dedicated engineering squad.

What the role covers

  • Be accountable for each agent skill from first idea to market, applying the platform’s components to genuine research and materials-science workflows
  • Author, trial and polish prompts, skills and evaluation sets personally, involving engineers only as needed
  • Study how customers work together with embedded scientists, choose the most valuable automation opportunities and package them as repeatable paid offerings
  • Move through compact projects, each lasting around four weeks, before starting the next one
  • Help define how the company builds, tests and measures agent features

What you bring

  • Four to seven years of B2B product management, including recent AI-related work
  • A history of bringing AI products (agents, copilots or assistants) to outside customers, plus daily personal use of AI tools
  • Background in vertical or specialist software and some experience starting new products from zero
  • Scientific training is welcome but optional

Bay Area, hybrid with one or two office days per week. Visa sponsorship is not available.
