A health-focused fintech company is looking for an early-career frontend engineer to join the team behind its consumer shopping experience and marketing site. You would partner with the marketing group to iterate quickly on the public website and gradually take on larger areas of ownership.
Responsibilities
- Create and release responsive pages and visual updates for the public website using Tailwind and Next.js
- Evolve the content model in the Sanity CMS so marketing can move without waiting on engineering
- Team up with the marketing group on website experiments, split tests and ways to lift conversion
- Boost performance and Core Web Vitals scores on phones and desktops
- Over time, widen your remit from interface work to full-stack ownership
Profile
- Zero to two years of frontend experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript
- Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including responsive layouts that look sharp across devices, since most visitors use phones
- Self-starter with curiosity, happiest owning problems without hand-holding
- Evidence of drive such as a good university, quality internships or standout personal projects
- Interest in a full-stack path rather than a design or UX career
- Willingness to travel four times a year for company gatherings
