A young startup in the AI data field is hiring someone who bridges engineering and media: a technically credible voice who can transform research findings into stories that engineers and scientists actually enjoy reading, watching and passing along. Candidates should be an active, recognizable presence within the AI scene on X.
Highlights of the job
- Translate the startup’s science and product progress into narrative content: threads, live demos, short films and launch campaigns
- Operate a distinctive, natural-sounding company account on X daily, joining discussions as they unfold, including replies and quote posts
- Enable founders and scientists to build their own genuine presence online by drafting alongside them
- Own each research release across X, the engineering blog and video, deciding the angle, preparing assets, sequencing posts and following up
- Cultivate real relationships with ML researchers, open-source maintainers, AI content makers and founders with technical depth
- Pass what the community says back to product and research colleagues, and test different formats and channels to see which earn credibility, guided by data
What you bring
- Two to seven years in technical content, developer marketing or developer relations focused on AI or machine learning
- An active personal X account with a following of at least a thousand people interested in the technical side
- Strong short-form writing about technical subjects, including threads, posts and articles
- Ability to build demos using code, notebooks or video
- A computer science, ML or related degree, or comparable self-taught depth
Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area or Silicon Valley. Visa transfers considered.
