Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Agents for Home Services)

A New York AI startup builds voice, text and phone agents for large home-services companies and wants engineers who embed with customers. You would be the bridge between clients and the product team, deploying agents that influence revenue while helping steer the product from the front lines.

What you’ll do

• Build and launch AI agents across voice, text and phone for enterprise customers
• Act as the main contact for each customer through rollout, onboarding and continued success
• Pass customer pain points to the design, product and engineering teams, and help turn them into platform upgrades
• Handle post-sale rollout and account-success work that supports account growth
• Work with the founders and senior teammates on the product roadmap

Profile

• One to five years as a forward deployed or customer-facing software engineer
• Has shipped production code, with strong Python and SQL, REST API experience and frontend skills in React, TypeScript and Node.js
• Comfortable presenting to C-level executives
• Degree in computer science, engineering or another STEM field
• Startup experience; founder or founding-engineer background is a plus
• Interest in AI for home services, construction and remodeling
