JOB-1590

A seed-stage startup is putting AI assistants into smart glasses for frontline technicians at large data center and power-grid operators. It needs an early engineer who is equally at ease writing code and sitting with enterprise customers on site, turning scattered know-how from the field into software that works in practice.

Scope

  • Sit with field technicians, find holes in their procedures and documentation, and organize what they know into something the AI can consume
  • Quickly build integrations and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines connecting to customer platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP and Salesforce
  • Create tailored AI evaluations for each industry from limited real-world data, and partner with engineering so the models keep getting better
  • Own the account from final demos to onboarding, multi-site rollout and continuing success
  • Relay what you hear in the field to the product team and steer change management inside big, traditional enterprises

Who thrives here

  • One to five years as a hands-on forward-deployed, solutions or implementation engineer for external enterprise, industrial, energy or defense customers
  • Code you wrote yourself in the past year, including integrations or data pipelines linking several systems
  • Practical experience adding LLM or RAG capabilities to a customer workflow and measuring results with evals
  • Deployments you personally owned that reached production and delivered real outcomes
  • Comfort being technical, AI-native and front and center with customers

On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area or the South Bay (Silicon Valley). Visa transfers and new visa sponsorship are both possible.
