Our client is an early-stage startup that uses AI to automate the integrations connecting companies in the physical economy, with a focus on supply chains. It is looking for a capable, self-driven engineer to help build the core platform from the ground up.
Your focus
- Design and build purpose-built AI coding agents that create supply chain connections
- Create and maintain the infrastructure that hosts and executes those integrations
- Take full ownership of core systems, covering both the agent layer and the integration runtime, and make foundational architecture calls
- Set conventions that will steer the engineering culture and the roadmap
- Move between the agent-driven side of the product and the heavier infrastructure side
What you bring
- Two to five years as a full-stack or backend engineer at a venture-backed startup, ideally between seed and Series B
- Strong TypeScript and modern full-stack product skills
- Hands-on work with AI agents and LLMs using up-to-date patterns
- Backend or infrastructure experience, such as runtimes, orchestration or cloud, beyond front-end product work
- A history of owning complex products from start to finish
- High autonomy and drive to create from nothing in an intense early-stage setting
