JOB-1454

An early-stage B2B software company that sells to product, engineering and professional-services leaders at sales-led software firms is hiring a lead for community and field marketing. The seat owns in-person programs, from executive dinners to speaking slots, and is judged on pipeline created rather than on attendance.

Programs you’ll run

  • Manage the event calendar, covering conference talks, exhibit space, satellite events and the follow-through that converts chats into meetings, at the industry gatherings where buyers show up
  • Run an executive dinner series in target cities, owning guest list, format, venue and results, and scale it past a single city
  • Produce a short-format podcast, from guest sourcing and booking to production and recap content
  • Build a webinar program of regular, valuable sessions featuring practitioners, customers and partners rather than sales demos
  • Cultivate a community where leaders in integrations and professional-services delivery choose to gather, and co-market with ecosystem partners
  • Be measured on meetings set, deals originated and pipeline touched, and convert successful formats into reusable playbooks and budget models

Who fits

  • Three to eight years in community or field marketing in B2B SaaS, preferably at an early-stage startup (Series A or B)
  • End-to-end ownership of company-hosted event series, not just booth logistics
  • An existing network of venues, vendors and organizers in San Francisco
  • Close collaboration with sellers, business development, the founders and product marketing
  • A plus: building a community from scratch, or supporting launches and offline activations

Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visa sponsorship and transfers are not available.
