JOB SUMMARY
A fast-growing AI startup is seeking a Founding Engineer to help build an AI-powered operating system that automates complex global supply chain workflows, starting with the food industry. This role offers full ownership of end-to-end projects, from AI agent orchestration to large-scale system integrations, in an on-site San Francisco environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Architect, build, and scale core AI agent systems and user-facing tools.

Rapidly ship production-quality code across AI orchestration pipelines, ERP integrations, and workflow automation.

Collaborate directly with customers to understand real-world challenges and translate insights into product solutions.

Contribute to foundational decisions around infrastructure, architecture, and long-term technical strategy.

Help shape company culture and the future engineering team.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and peer reviews.

Support rapid prototyping and deployment of AI-driven solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS

2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering within a high-growth startup (Seed to Series B).

Strong proficiency in Python and core data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).

Experience building production-grade AI agents or workflow systems.

Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco, CA.
NICE-TO-HAVE

Previous founder or early engineer experience.

Experience scaling ML models in production.

Proficiency in Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, SQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
