JOB SUMMARY

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting. The role involves providing comprehensive support to attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist attorneys in managing caseloads, including organization and maintenance of court materials.
  • Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court documents.
  • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and communications with minimal supervision.
  • Manage dockets, calendars, matter dates, and deadlines.
  • Review and summarize depositions; prepare deposition digests.
  • Coordinate and assist with deposition, hearing, motion, and trial preparation.
  • Support paper and electronic discovery processes, including:
    • Identifying relevant electronically stored information (ESI).
    • Drafting and issuing legal hold notices.
    • Coordinating with clients on identification, preservation, and collection of discovery.
    • Assisting with processing, reviewing, and coding ESI.
  • Perform electronic filings (CM/ECF and New Jersey e-filing).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree and/or paralegal certificate required.
  • Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Relativity and Concordance required.
  • Knowledge of iManage a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
