Target Salary: $76,500 – $162,500 (Commensurate with Experience)
JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a skilled Trust & Estates Administration Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join its Miami, FL office. This individual will play a critical role in supporting attorneys in all aspects of estate and trust administration, delivering high-quality service to clients and fiduciaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate and trust settlement
 - Communicate extensively with clients, financial advisors, and accountants
 - Prepare federal and state estate tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, and accountings
 - Coordinate distribution of estate assets and trust funding
 - Assist with deed work and related property transfers
 - Maintain organized case files and prepare supporting documentation
 - Ensure compliance with jurisdiction-specific probate rules (knowledge of NJ, NY, and FL procedures a plus)
 - Utilize estate tax software (e.g., ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs, and Microsoft Office tools for document preparation
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate administration
 - College degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
 - JD/paralegal candidates will also be considered
 - Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
 - Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational abilities
 - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Word; experience with estate tax software and HotDocs strongly preferred
