JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is currently seeking a Legal Practice Assistant (LPA) for its New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of legal experience and will provide support to attorneys and associates in a variety of practice areas, including Bankruptcy, Corporate, Environmental, Litigation, Real Estate, and Tax, Trusts & Estates. The position requires strong multitasking abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive, client-focused approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support attorneys and associates across multiple practice areas.
- Assist with preparation, editing, and finalization of legal documents.
- Manage high-volume administrative tasks and case/project coordination.
- Maintain and organize case files and related documentation.
- Effectively prioritize competing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal administrative support role.
- Experience in at least one or more of the following areas: Bankruptcy, Corporate, Environmental,
- Litigation, Real Estate, or Tax, Trusts & Estates.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and InTapp.
- Familiarity with iManage and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
