Job Description

The firm is seeking a Legal Technology Specialist to join its global Technology Delivery team. This role supports legal teams and clients by advising on, configuring, and delivering legal technology solutions—particularly in the areas of deal management, document automation, and contract lifecycle management. Reporting to the Senior Engagement Manager, the role blends legal insight and technical expertise to enable smarter, more efficient service delivery. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with either a legal or IT background who have a strong interest in legal technology. The role is highly collaborative, involving interaction with lawyers, clients, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an internal consultant, advising lawyers and clients on selecting and using legal tech tools effectively
  • Provide operational support for legal technologies across deal management and contract lifecycle domains
  • Maintain, administer, and troubleshoot legal tech platforms (e.g., HighQ, Contract Express, Kira, Avvoka)
  • Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance tool performance
  • Design, configure, and test automated documents, workflows, and collaboration portals
  • Lead demonstrations and deliver user training to legal teams and clients
  • Build and maintain structured data environments and data visualization dashboards
  • Participate in solution quality assurance and governance reviews
  • Contribute to pre-project evaluations and develop technical effort estimates
  • Collaborate on document automation projects and monitor delivery timelines
  • Assist with reporting on product usage, client metrics, and departmental KPIs
  • Support broader departmental needs through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (STEM or legal background preferred)
  • Previous experience with document automation (e.g., Avvoka, Contract Express), collaboration platforms (e.g., HighQ, Legatics), or AI-based data tools (e.g., Kira, RAVN)
  • Familiarity with MS Office, mark-up languages, and basic web applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly
  • Experience working in global teams and across different cultural environments
  • Ability to manage risks, provide technical estimations, and follow structured governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated project involvement or exposure to project management principles
