Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join its Employment Law team in the newly established New York office. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work one-on-one with a lead attorney, playing a key role in the day-to-day management of complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of litigation procedures.
Responsibilities
- Draft and support preparation of pleadings, discovery, and legal filings.
- Manage and organize case files, including e-discovery and document production.
- Assist in deposition, hearing, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case development.
- Coordinate communications with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Maintain accurate and timely timekeeping records. Perform additional litigation support tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience; employment law experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, legal research platforms, and eDiscovery tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a legal team.
