JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its Consumer Financial Services (CFS) practice group. Based in a collaborative team structure, the role involves assisting attorneys with all aspects of litigation across multiple client matters. This position carries an annual billable hour requirement and offers a dynamic workload involving research, document management, and trial preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct legal and factual research using platforms such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, and PACER.
 - Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under attorney supervision.
 - Manage document production, including Bates stamping, indexing, and organizing by subject matter.
 - Use e-discovery and litigation software to run searches, review documents, and maintain case databases.
 - Assist with deposition preparation, including building notebooks and summarizing transcripts.
 - Support attorneys with trial preparation including drafting disclosures, organizing exhibits, and managing on-site trial logistics.
 - Retrieve and analyze public records from government and online databases.
 - Maintain accurate and organized case files using platforms like iManage.
 - Track deadlines, follow up on deliverables, and ensure accurate client billing through time entry and reporting.
 - Participate in paralegal training and mentoring initiatives.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.
 - Minimum 8 years of litigation paralegal experience.
 - Experience in consumer financial services litigation strongly preferred.
 - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software tools (iManage, document management, e-discovery).
 - Strong grammar, proofreading, and communication skills.
 - Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple assignments independently.
 - Excellent judgment, initiative, and a collaborative team mindset.
