Job Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join its Midtown Manhattan office. This full-time role supports attorneys in managing complex litigation matters through a Legal Project Management framework. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, litigation experience, and the ability to contribute to a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft and respond to discovery requests.
- Review, prepare, and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and exhibits.
- Organize and analyze document productions, including from co-defendants and opposing parties.
- Assist in trial preparation and manage trial-related materials.
- Prepare chronologies and materials for expert witness review.
- Maintain case files and manage litigation support documents.
- Communicate with outside vendors and track deadlines using internal systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred.
- 2–5 years of litigation paralegal experience strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be self-directed, organized, and capable of working both independently and within a team setting.
